February is already upon us. It’s always terrifying to think about how quickly time passes… didn’t we just start the new year? January was interesting, to say the least. At a time of political turmoil, it has been a challenging start to the year for so many of us. That being said, the positives most definitely outweighed the negatives for me and I really hope it stays that way for the coming months.
I read four books this month – Stalking Jack The Ripper, A Darker Shade Of Magic, Wing Jones and A Quiet Kind Of Thunder. It doesn’t sound like much but it was difficult to squeeze in reading time between mid-month exams and starting a new semester. I’m planning to review these fairly soon, and I will also (hopefully!) be posting a discussion sparked by AQKOT.
I actually struggled compiling this very short list of February releases. Apparently, there aren’t many books coming out next month that I’m really looking forward to. Nevertheless, I did some digging and managed to find one or two (or three, in fact.) To sum it up: one I have already read, one has been long-awaited across the Atlantic and one is the finale in a trilogy of which I’ve only read the first book.
